Banana Bread

What you need:

3-4 ripe bananas
3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
chopped craisins (optional)
cinnamon (optional)
semi-sweet chocolate morsels (optional)

Makes 1 loaf

How to:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 4×8 loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Mix the melted butter into the mashed bananas. Then add the sugar, egg, and vanilla.

3. Sprinkle the baking soda and the salt and mix in. Lastly, add flour. Mix.

4. Pour mixture into buttered loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool on rack. Once cool, remove from pan.

And slice and serve! Bring it in to work or school and everyone will fall in love with you.

Tis better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all.
